Ink and opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the camel, wearing an elaborate saddle cloth decorated with fierce creatures tends to her suckling calf, a wealthy merchant observes the scene holding a pomegranate and a long cane while a pot-bellied servant behind spins yarn from camel hair, slightly trimmed, set within gold-speckled borders on wide margins with gold scrolling vine on a ground of large rosettes and saz leaves, laid down on a card, trace of a red seal stamp in the lower left hand corner Drawing 3 7/8 x 6 5/8in.
